PNC 2019 Centenary of the Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles which established the conditions of peace after the First World War will enter its centenary in 2019. Among the 32 signatories of the treaty was the Prime Minister of Australia Billy Hughes.
This marked the first time that Australian officials had participated in the negotiation of an international treaty.
Australia Post issued a Treaty of Versailles PNC featuring a post mark dated 13 June 2019 and the Treaty of Versailles al/bronze $1 coin.
