2007 Mint Set - Surf Lifesaver

To celebrate the Year of the Surf Lifesaver 2007 the Royal Australian Mint released this year set as a tribute to the icon of Australian beaches. The Surf lifesaving organisation has over 113 000 members and saves over 500 000 lives around Australia.

The uncirculated set includes a special 20c coin featuring the image of a female lifesaver with a rope line held above her head. This coin was not released for general circulation.
