50c 2015 50th Ann. of the Royal Australian Mint Gold Plated 'Open Day' UNC

To celebrate its golden anniversary the Royal Australian Mint released a special cupro-nickel gold plated 50c uncirculated coin. This issue is encapsulated on a credit card sized card which is marked “Open Day 21 February 2015”. This special release was only available at the mint during their celebration open day on the 21st February.

Mintage approximately 5000 which was only sold at the Royal Australian Mint on the 21st February 2015.
