Celebrating the seventh World Masters Games hosted by the city of Sydney Australia from 10-18 October 2009 The Perth Mint struck a 1oz 99.9% pure silver coloured proof coin. The reverse depicts Sydney's iconic Harbour Bridge and a stylised representation of water along with a World Masters Games coloured logo.
The coin is housed encapsulated in an orange, green, blue or burgundy leatherette hinged-lid presentation case protected by a custom-designed cardboard shipper portraying silhouetted figures playing sport.
