$2 2015 ANZAC Day Lest We Forget Coloured
The Royal Australian Mint has struck a coloured $2 coin to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli during World War I. This special coin features a ring of poppies amongst crosses to mark the fallen and a red circle surrounding the solemn words ‘Lest We Forget’. Issued as part of the official Anzac Centenary Coin Program capturing history service and sacrifice of Australians at War one and a half million $2 coins will be released into circulation only.
